Hi all,
I seriously need your advice...
for the past month i rent the denon dn-hc4500, vestax vci-300, numark NS7, numark Mixdeck, numark ndx800.
the only controller that i had problems is the NS7...even if my laptop is a new generation and with the wireless off and every windows service turned off i was having drop sound....ok i have windows 7 with 64 bit
I'm not a scratcher but i was impressed about the platters....motorized....
I use VDJ and a few times Serato...
What do you guys recommand ....my controller will not go outside of my house....it will stay in my studio.
It's pretty bad that the NS7 is soo picky with windows....i guess numark will work on a REAL 64 bit driver..
My music is on a external hard disk,....so no cd's
Do you recommand me the vestax or the denon dn-hc 4500 ??? or something else...
i'm mixing house music (dance club).
any advice will be much appreciate..
Marty

The Vci 300 is nice because of the jogs but the control knobs and the faders are so so. The VCI 300 is very limited when it comes to adding more. The mic input stinks because you have delays. You can lower the buffer but its not the same like using a separate mixer. The Hc4500 can be used with any 19 inch mixer.. I recomend the Denon X500. The output is louder and cleaner than the Vci 300.
Its really up to you. just because you play dance and dont scratch, doesnt mean you dont have to get something with jogs. Denis Ferrer doesnt scratch or Roger sanchez but they use CDJ 1000's.

The Denon DN-s1200's feel cheap. I am using Denon 3700's & Technics 1200's.
Decks you can check out..
Pioneer CDJ 400's.. They are working native with Virtual dj
Numark Mix Deck. I dont think it's native yet with virtual dj.
Numark NDX 800. I dont think its native yet.

Both MixDeck and NDX-800 are native in the latest version. The NS7 is also improved in v6.0.8

I love my 4500, works great in VDJ and Serato. Pair it with the CD player and you have a top notch digital player with a very fast easy to use back-up.

I think he means it works in native and timecode modes with the full version of Serato.

@ Marty. The HC4500 works native with Serato scratch live. The HC5000 works native with Serato Itch.
