I have some specific questions about Behringer Eurolive powered Speakers.

1) How do they sound - Good at low volumes? - Crap out at high Volumes?
2) How long have you used them and how often.


I don't want to hear from anyone who doesn't own a pair or multiple pairs
I don't want to hear they're crappy brand name - I know the name, I also know what I want to use them for.

I'm not looking for an opinion I'm looking for a long term user report.

I'd like to hear from someone too. I'm about to buy a set in the next couple of weeks and leaning toward B215d. The extra 10kgs for the 300 series sounz back breaking.
 
I had a pair of the B215d EUROLIVE They sounded great, Problem was after 5 months 1 of the "PODS" Defected on me so when i raised or lowered the volume behind the speaker it would crackle or made the VOLUME GO EXTREMELY LOUD! repair was quoted at $150 from a Behring authorized repair shop. sold them for a pair of "TH15A" THUMPS The THUMPS were much better.
 
Any more owners wanna share their experience.?
 
I have the Behringer B212A. Bought them in 2005. Still running great.

Not one problem, run them to clip (red light on the back) and they still thump every party.

for the price, you cannot lose. For most parties, these 2 powered 12 are good enough, used them for up to 250 people actually with no problems!

It's not positive but I will share it with you.

I have a pair of B300 Behringer powered speakers.
They are now discontinued, maybe for good reason, dunno...

Been nothing but grief.
Sending one in for power supply problems for the second time.
Another one lost an amp board, but still works.
They have been to one gig only and now used for home theater use only.
These have no time on them at all.

The sound sucked and had no head room.

Then there was the weight factor omg.
My Yorkville 750's weigh less and more than double the power.

There is enough bad press about powered speakers without this kind of thing.

Would I buy Behringer speakers again?
No, but the decision is yours.
We also have a pair of Behringers for our shows, they have held up ok.
But it only takes one bad experience for me to move on.

I just got a pair of Mackie Thumps about a month now and they rock for small venues you could feel the bass, geart speakers lightwight for mobile DJin'.

Outdoor venues, good idea to have a powered bass speaker with crossover so you don't kill the thumps., mid's if lacking can be adjusted with a dedicated Mid control that expands the mid's for vocals or karaoke gigs, so it's all in the settings you use which you have four to choose from to get it right.

Mackie has it right with this model., unless to have RCF or EV money...

I've had them for about a year now with no problem. They have power but there's one catch, they are heavy as hell. I got mine from GC, was able to talk down on the price and made sure to get an extended warranty. As long as you keep your eye on not making the speakers clip, they should do you some justice for small mobile gigs. Pair these up with a B52 setup and you have enough sound for a small gym or block party. I've done gigs where other folks had Mackies and JBL's, and they couldn't believe the sound coming out of the Behringers.

The club I manage in Boston just went through a hefty renovation and i had the opportunity to put in all new systems... I looked at several options for the club space and opted for for the QSC K series for the club... I put in 8 K-10 powered speakers and 2 K-Subs along with 2 additonal passive subs. It kicks and never sounded better...
