hello folks
recently purchased the icue but i have a wee problem with cueing up music in my headphones....basically, i cant:(
im using a pc with an asus 5.1 soundcard where my speakers are plugged into, and headphones are plugged into the front audio panel of my pc.
i've tried all sorts of configurations, but the sound only comes out one channel, ie speakers or 'phones, never both.
anyone got any ideas on what i'm doing wrong? would be greatly appreciated, as at the moment, im just using my memory of the tunes' breaks/beats for mixing
cheers

Hello,
Ensure you are using the latest version of Cue LE
Then choose :
Inputs none
Outputs headphones
5.1 souncard
You will need to experiment with the channels they will be labeled on the card however.
Ie main will go to Main output and aux to aux output.

thanks skyfxl...
just one thing, would aux be my headphones? and would i have to use the actual souncard for them rather than the front panel?

Go to Radio Shack Store (or website) and get the Gigaware headset to usb cable for $20 then just plug, dont think you need to install drivers ,audio devices even this cheap can be "PLUG & PLAY" ,then plug into a spare usb ,then select as a a headphone cue source while your laptops headphones are your main outs to speakers, that it!! ...

hello again, had to go out and buy another set of speakers before i saw your reply tracker:(
usb space is a problem for me atm, so im hoping i can get my current setup working.
anyways, the outputs on the soundcard are as follows:
Side Out
Rear Out
Centre Out
Front Out
line In
Mic In
my speakers are connected to the Front Out port. also, the front panel has 2 connections, one for headphones, and the other for mic.
now, as i would assume, plugging my headphones into the front panel would do, with my config as:
Inputs: none
Outputs: headphones
Soundcard: speakers
Output channels: Master/Front output ; headphones/Rear output.
as it doesnt give me the option of choosing the actual headphone output that i'm using, i tried plugging the 'phones into the rear out of my soundcard, but i'm still getting the same problem.
