I have a bunch of VOB files I ripped from my DVD collection. For the record, I have been running the Mac version of VDJ on my MacBook Pro... It works fine for me, but I am wanting to transition to the Windows version because I will be doing an in-house gig for the summer, and I want to integrate some of the Plugins like Slideshow and Showlogo which are PC-only... This transition isn't going well. I am having high cpu usage issues, which I am working out from some other messages on the forum. However, my biggest issue is that I am having audio issues with a good number of my files. The video shows up in my preview window, and I get a waveform also... but when I go to play the video I get no audio. I also have some files that show the waveform and then it gets 'greyed-out' after it is done analyzing the file. Either way, I try the file outside of VDJ in vlc and I get perfect playback. And, they are files that I have used in the past with my MacBook.
I saw a posting in another forum posting about codecs and ripping, and referred to the WIKI... but every time I click on the codec link I get a virtually blank page that has links for WIKI Home and User Manual Table of Contents, neither of which return any useful information.
For the record, I did try ripping one of the culprit files using the included rip tool with the same results...
I am hoping someone can steer me in the right direction to help track down the problem... and a solution.
Thanks
-Brian

The majority of codecs needed are built into VDJ, VOB files should play no problem with no additions or downloads needed..
Can you post your computer specs and VDJ settings from your PC?
Are you using the internal decoders for the VOB's?

I have not installed any additional codecs. Just using the stock VDJ install. I am running 6.0.8 on Dual Xeon 2.2GHz machine with 1 gig of RAM. I am using a Hercules RMX as controller and audio I/O. The video card is a nVidia 8400 GS with 512mb. I am trying to source some more RAM... for the machine.
