Hi everyone,
I've been using VDJ with 2 stanton TT with serato TCV. Now when I set this up I didn't pay a huge amount of attention to the settings, but what is the 'optimal' set up?
For example, where should the knobs for 'gain' and 'silence' be pointed and all these sorts of settings.
Does tweaking said settings really make a lot of difference?
Sorry to sound like a noob.
Cheers guys,
DJ SnowGhost

Thanks very much indeed, very useful. Still not entirely sure what some of the knobs do though.

The key tip to Serato timecodes is that i've experienced that Smart mode is rubbish for these. You MUST use absolute mode.

Hi Guys,
Just an update - took all your advice and read all the attached articles, very helpful indeed! I'm using Smart relative mode and it works a treat, not great for rewinds though - I guess I need to decrease the 'silence' parameters.
I'm still not sure I'm getting 100% quality even though it says though!
Thanks for all your help, VDJ forums have shone through once again!
