Hey everyone,
Long story short I want to do A clean install on my system. I have an external HD and need to know what to back up So i dont lose my BPM's Cue Ponts, Playlists, and Settings. Here is why I've run VDJ @ plenty of gigs 4 to 5 hours no crashes. Sat the software locked up and froze once, 2hrs later my Laptop BSOD. Not good, only a house party so i wasn't so upset. Recently I went through my Asus laptop and attempted to remove "bloatware" which there was lots. after removing all these things VDJ actually ran worse, so I did a system restore and it seemed to be back to normal, only some programs weren't functioning right. Im pretty sure this is the reason I got the BSOD so here is my question. Also I run 2 Korg Pads and my wireless mouse through a non powered "korg" usb 4 port adapter. Now I know your not supposed to do this with things like mixers that require a lot of power but the Korg Hub said it was made for running multiple korg pads. DO you think this could be making VDJ act funny. Thanks so much for you time. Ive got my first big time gig at a club Wed. and Im dreading another crash, EEEK.

I would copy the mydocuments/virtualdj folder to that external drive asap.
That is all you need to restore exactly what you had.
