Hi all,one very pissed off dj after some advice. Had my first gig to do at the weekend, however after hooking up my laptop to my total control and I/o that ive had for approximately a year there was a loud crack and the laptop went blank. Cue a burnt out I/o, total control and x2 usb ports. Gig off then.
Anybody know what might've happened and If I can get repaired?

That sounds like your laptop or USB ports experienced a surge or a failed component.
Software cannot cause that to happen, a part will have failed in the laptop to cause that. Does the computer turn on?

Yeah it turned on after about five minutes........minus both left hand usb ports and I/o and total control burnt out. Is it likely my numark gear can be repaired?

It would be repairable but would be out of warranty you can get this done by the HQ in the uk.
