Hello
I just bought a NI Audio 2 DJ Sound card, and try to set it up to have as little latency as possible
I've tried using pitch reset on both decks to try and push the system, and find that I have to set the sound card to medium latency (22ms input yo output) to get it to sound ok while the pitch reset is running. If I want it to sound close to perfect, I have to choose high latency (28ms input to output). Othervice the picth reset become uneven and has small glitches. On the virtual dj performance page I use auto latency and no checks in safe mode and overclock
In the sound card manual, it looks like I should be able to get better latency than these settings. I'm running on an windows XP 2ghz dual core PC with 4G ram, and the dpclat.exe test software shows no red sparks
What is your opinion? Is this as good as it gets, or is there something else I can do?
Best regards
Klaus
