Hello

I've tried playing with netsearch last night, and had the following happen to me 2 times:

I find some tunes/videos on the net using netsearch. Some work, some don't, some loads fast, some slow.

After this I start playing my own mp3, but virtualdj loads them really slow all of a sudden, and basically stops working, since it takes minutes to load a new song

After a restart of virtual dj, the problem is gone, and I can load and ply my mp3's full speed again

Has anybody seen this before?

Almost forgot:

This was also the first time I used my new Audio 2 DJ sound card, so it may be involved in the issue, but it only happened to me when using netsearch tunes/videos

ive also see this Problem.

also if you load some vids - mp4 for example.

After loading a video track the load from an mp3 file is very slow...

What is your Max Load setting at?

the mp3's on your computer, are they VBR or CBR?

When you say "basically stops working" can you describe what the waveform looks like? did it just load slowly or did it 'pause' loading?

did this happen on both decks? or did it (the problem) seem to favour just one deck?

My max load is 15 minutes

My MP3's are CBR

It loaded very slowly with small pauses, and the waveform tended to look more square'ish

I think I only tried deck one. I'll try both if it happens again

Is speedload enabled in the registry tool?
 
You should never grab a netsearch song and throw it into your deck to load. It will slow the load speed on the other deck as well. Load speed will return to normal after the netsearch track has fully loaded into the deck but in the meantime the other deck will be effected.

Best thing to do is right click on the netsearch song and click download to cache. That way the song downloads in the background without interupting your deck load speed. Then you can play the song from cache without streaming it once it is fully downloaded.

Same thing is happening to me. In fact I went out and bought a new video card, Nvidia 9800 GT 1Gig ddr3. Everything is working fine all effects etc, but if i load a netsearch video or audio file to one deck and then start playing it, while loading another track from my hard drive, presto, slow motion untill the netsearch file is done loading, or it will crash on me. I have a AMD Phenom II quad core 8 Gig Ram NS7 with NSFX controller latest drivers and firmware and vdj 6.08, which by the way, thank you VDJ for the motorized wheel platter upgrade fix, scratching sounds way better now and response is awesome. Serato Itch can eat a big D***...
