Topic: Hard Drive Upgrade Gone Bad?????? - Page: 2

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Andrew, I haven't yet as I am still working on determining the difference between my old chipset etc... and the new.

I ran the new HDD this weekend and didn't have any issue other than the delay when pushing play.

I am hoping to get time this week still before this weekend's events to look through it more.

What is the "system idle process" in the task manager under processes do? I noticed that it had 90's in the CPU field everytime I run my PC, while VDJ has only 5-10 in the CPU field????

Also, before last weekend's events I did try my old DMC2 and it ran perfectly. Immediate response when I hit play so now I'm really baffled.

I am experiencing the same problems with 2 DN-S3700 and Virtual DJ 6.1.1 as Simplicitydj has but I have not changed my hard drive.

Background: I use PCDJ VJ (VDJ) 5.2 on an HP dv6880se laptop (1.83 GHz Intel Centrino Processor Technology featuring Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 3GB Dual 250GB HD) along a DN-HC4500 and X-500 mixer with no issues. Latest ASIO drivers from Denon Website.

I bought two DN-S3700 players and VDJ. After installing VDJ from disk I was promted to upgrade to VDJ6.1.1 which I did. DN-S3700 players had V1300 from the box. I played with VDJ and the two players that first day with no big issues. Did notice the play button delay but I thought it was by default. Did not notice the tracks getting out of sync on their own.

The next day I upgraded the players to v1330 and played again at home. I quickly got a VDJ hang up where one of the two DN-S3700 becomes unresponsive. I can only control the VDJ player using the mouse only to have it hang up completely and would need to close it down. After opening VDJ again the database would appear without playlists and song bpms. After doing a full shutdown/restart (taking longer than usual) the database would reappear. I can easlity reproduce the VDJ hang up, I just need to have two songs running at the same time for a while. Once I even got the hang up while moving the platter as I tried to set a cue point from pause.

I tried VDJ 6.1.1 with my DN-HC4500 and noticed no play lag as observed with the DN-S3700's.
