I need help urgently..
I would like to seperate a guitar part in a track from the rest of the track..
So i would like to take out the beats and all the background sounds and only have the guitar tune playing..
Is that possible with Virtual DJ?

I would have suggested the vocals+ plugin but being a non-licenced user you won't have access to that area.
Short of that I don't think VDJ can actually do what you wish.

no, its not.. not reliably..
it would be easier and cheaper to hire a musician to just PLAY & record that part for you.

As above, the Vocals+ effect can do this, but the results will vary depending on the song. It is a very difficult task for a computer to do this because it's difficult for it to distinguish between vocals and high instrument sounds. Extracting a particular individual instrument would be near impossible.
For the best results and highest quality, you should ideally obtain the separate instrumental and acapella versions of the song. These are available from DJ services such as PromoOnly.
