hey erani, and welcome to the vrtual dj community :)
yes the controller you suggest will work with virtual dj...
yes it will work with windows 7...
with virtual dj you can map everything you want...
as an example, you could use the play button to stop, and the stop button to play...
you can assign each knob you want..
however, virtual dj only supports midi with viirtual dj pro...
http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html
but i seriously doubt the quality of this particular controller
if you are looking for something better go for vestax, hercules or reloop...(preferably with a build in soundcard,so you can use headphones...)
it all comes down to taste and what you need..
good luck in your search mate !

A built-in sound card allows you to headphone pre-listen. Without this, you would need to add a second sound card (e.g: External USB) to your system because most laptops only have a single ouput.
If you are on a budget, then the Hercules MP3e2 DJ Console would be a good choice - It includes VirtualDJ Console Edition. However, it does not have a built-in sound card. The Hercules MK4 which will be available soon will have a built-in sound card.
You could also consider the Hercules DJ Console RMX, but this may be out of your price range.
The trial does allow MIDI mapping and all current supported hardware to be used for 20 days. The advantage of the above Hercules DJ Consoles is they include a free limited Console Edition, so you do not need to purchase VirtualDJ Pro straight away, and when you do, you can do so at a discount.
