Im having an issue with my xp10. Twice now when connecting my xp10 ive run into the problem where the touch platter isnt touch sensitive. Each time i just screwed around with plugiging, unplugging, checkign, unchecking etc until it worked. Im wondering if anyone else has this, as id like to know my xp10 is really plug and play, and not plug and pray.

I've never had that problem with either of my XP10's unless I powered them up with something touching the platter, and then they of course act all screwy.
Possibly a bad USB chord (new chord)? Possibly not enough power coming through your USB port(powered USB hub)?
You can troubleshoot either of those for less than $20 in parts from your local computer store. Please keep us posted on your progressive.

i had the same issue!
it was caused by metal items close to your xp10. for example: even a mouse-cable under your xp10 can trigger the issue.
remove any metal items near your xp10 ;)
