Topic: VDJ with MBP and Denon HD2500

Ok im am a bit confused. I got my MBP w/VDJ connected by a USB cable to my HD2500, which is connected to my X500 Mixer. . What settings do I have to use in VDJ and on my Mac to make use of my HD2500 and X500 external mixer? I am using only the sound card in the 2500 and want to be able to use the mixer also. Is this even possible? Sorry for the crazy question. Thanks.

Well I got the Denon 2500 to work, however the lights on the unit do not operate under MIDI mode in VDJ. Is there a setting i may be missing in VDJ?
 
lights not working sounds like an old osx problem what version are you using?
 
Using Mac Snow Leopard. VDJ 6. Not sure whats going on?
 
have you checked if there is a firmware update for you model on the denon site?
 
 
Latest firmware is installed by Denon. A friend has VDJ 5 and MBP with the 2500 and it works fine. Not sure why VDJ 6 does not
 
Now none of the controls on the 2500 are working. VDJ is operating and using the 2500 as a sound card only. I have no idea whats going on. Version 6.1 and Mac Book Pro running Snow Leopard. It seems the more updates to VDJ the more it doesnt work with the 2500 on the Mac Platform. I need help..
 
 
cstoll. You are the MAN!!! I just uploaded the zip file to my MBP and tested it out. It works Great!!!! All my lights on the 2500 work and everything is running smooth. Thanks for your assistance.
