Just curious as to where the bpm info is stored now.. When vdj reads the tags, is it only reading the artist and track name? Is the bpm and gain info still stored in the "VirtualDJ Database.xml"?
Thanks.

If you activated the option "Write VDJ Tags" then your BPM are stored in the mp3s and aswell in the "VirtualDJ Database.xml"

Yep, I just read it on another post. Great feature. More backup just in case. : ^ )

Is the BPM info in ID3 tags from VDJ & PCDJ Compatible with each other?

Nope, because pcdj/bpm stored its bpm info in a non-standard tag there is no way for vdj to acess this info.

I Know Some ID3 Tag prog Read and Write (Tag & Rename?) would it be possible to write a converter program, unfortuintly a job beyond me.
I guess For me I've found VDJ bpm to give varible results and isn't a true mass bpm extractor requiring you to first group your music into two groups (techno/general?) something no other extractor that i'm awear off requires.
How Does VDJ Bpm Extractor compare to other DJ Programs , does it require improvement?
