Topic: Renaming files with VDJ

Ok, not sure if this a new bug or one that has been then forever - but i cant see any other thread relating to it.

Basically i foolishly deleted both my actual database and my database back up a couple of weeks ago. In the most part this wasn't a problem until it came to a selection of videos which were saved as divx files with just numbers as their file name and no tag data.

I started to rename the files in VDJ for Windows (Win 7) and then copy the file name into the Artist and Title sections in the FILE INFO screen.

My problem is in VDJ for Mac - this doesn't work. It will appear to let me rename the file - but doesn't let me copy the information in the FILE INFO screen. Also when you close VDJ and open it again the file you just renamed is back to its original file name.

Below is an image of what i mean. On windows you can select the 'down' arrow (circled) and it loads the file name into the tag Artist and Title - it doesnt seem to do anything in Mac OSX.

Any ideas - is this a known problem?

Ok, so a few people have looked at this post, but no response yet.

I fully understand that if it is a bug then it might not be an overnight fix. Just wondering whether someone else could test it out and see whether it is just me, or a general issue.
