Getting involved in a new bar and I am after some software that will allow the customer to enter requests on a pc keyboard which I can read from the booth. The idea being to stop being interrupted all the time for requests. They enter it on a screen and I can see it in the booth. I guess I could write something using a php form or something but just wondered if there was something off the shelf someone else might be using.

Either that or run Firetext and they can submit requests via Text right to your screen!

Hmm, I'm not sure if that will work here in New Zealand. Any idea where I can find some more info on network requirements, etc?

or go even easier - bolt a netbook or small laptop to a desk (so it can't "walk" away) that has been water- and drunk - proofed and have it up on twitter, facebook, or even just a plain chat/instant message app, and you can look at them as their posted. personally i'd use the facebook one - easiest to save, can be used for networking with customers and really cheap advertising, and even customers who arent at the club/bar can send one in for a girl or guy if they're not there yet.
