Hello all, I have a question. I’m in the process of trying to get all my equipment so I can get the ball rolling on my DJ career. I’m trying to decide between the following two options: 1. Purchasing two cd/mp3 turntables to use with the mixer I already have, or 2. Purchasing the Numark Mixdeck. If I purchase the separate turntables, will I need to purchase the VirtualVinyl interface in order to use them properly? If I’m not mistaken, the interface is not necessary if you have the Mixdeck. Either way, I know I will probably have to download Virtual DJ Pro. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you want to get two turntables, you will need an interface in order to control Virtual Dj. If you go for the Numark mixdeck, you don't need it, but that's a matter of taste, money and your style.
 
The New CD mp3 decks like the Pioneer CDJ 400's & The Denon 3700's already have built in audio interfaces. All you you do is hook up each deck by usb and thats it. CD decks like Numark CDX, HDX, Pioneer CDJ 800 or 1000 or any other cd player need to be hooked up to a Audio interface because they dont have built in soundcards. The Mix deck is a all in one unit with audio interface.

I owned Pioneer cdj 1000mk3's and other cd decks, Now i have Denon 3700's. The platter feels really good and handles well.
 
Try A Hercules RMX You Have A Interface And A Controller To Use With Your CD/Mp3 Player,Turntable If You Need To Scratch

I wouldnt buy the RMX. But then again, thats me.

RMX too small, good but if you're from the old school especially, then you will love your denon 3700, and if you love the scratch like me then you will know the RMX is just a nice little toy.
