I recently installed the newer version of Virtual DJ. I put on a TCV and the sound from the vinyl comes out through my computer speakers when it should be the sound on the desk. What should I do?

I already installed the ASIO and that works. I tried it again and the sound magically works now, but I can still hear the sound from the vinyl. It's annoying that they're both playing at the same time. Is that supposed to happen or is the sound from the vinyl supposed to go away

try muting your line in, in your playin out panel of your soundcard. i.e, not the recording pane. if the sound is very quiet, its actually coming from the turntable itself, try playing a record with no speakers on, u can hear the high end of the song thru the tt
