I am a limited edition user and my software is registered. My upgrade discount is $50. I am currently considering whether to purchase a used Hercules (software already registered) or new "retail" Hercules DJ console RMX which comes with VirtualDj LE and that upgrade discount is $149. If I go with the new Hercules will my total discount be $200 off the retail for the Pro version? I need to know because I see alot of low cost, used Hercules rmx's out there and depending on my total discount it maybe smarter and less to get a used one and pay $250 (with my limited edition discount) for VDJ Pro, than for a new Hercules with it's own discount VDJ software.

The discount works with only one serial number. So with your RMX it's about 149$ discount and with your Atomix MP3 it's about 49$ discount.

if you buy a used rmx or any other used controler , and if the software that come with it is already registered you'll can't use the serial numlber to get a discount...

What if the controller is registered but the upgrade discount is not used? Can the upgrade discount still be available?

If the upgrade discount has not been used then yes, it will still be available. This can be obtained by entering the serial number on the purchase page http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
Only one discount can be used off the full price of VirtualDJ Pro (I.e: You cannot combine two or more to receive more discount.)
