trying VDJ out(did have pcdj vj)
Is there a way of changing what the controllers do. i.e can the jog wheel on a dac 3 be made to scroll record case for example.
What controller works best with VDJ as looking to buy something else too.

Yes, in the latest v6.1 version http://www.virtualdj.com/download/trial.html you can change the mappings of the buttons, sliders, jogwheels, etc. to do whatever you want by changing the VDJscript mapping (This was not possible in PCDJ VJ, VirtualDJ v5 and earlier.)
