Hey All,
I have the Numark Total Control but having some issues getting it up and running. From What I have read I might need firmware. When connecting the total control while holding the key combo on the controller the grey middle lights light up and then when you click mid together the select light lights up on the left and right side.
I have tried to install the firmware per these instructions http://de.virtualdj.com/forums/94585/Hardware_Technical_Support/New_Firmware_v1_2_for_NUMARK_Total_Control__now_available_via_technical_support_only_.html I get midi in port not ready. I did take a look at the driver and it does have the 8 entries.
Help I am beyond frustrated. Numark has been no help. I got one generic response and nothing since and its going on 3 weeks.

It sounds like you have erased the firmware.
We do not recommend doing this unless directed by support as it can lead to the controller being non functional if a step is missed.
I would verify you have no products using the windows driver at the same time such a logitech webcamera.
