It would be cool to have a "remove" function available with a right-click on a track in the playlist column.
Some people (I think) are affraid to push onto "delete" to do that, or using a drag-n drop to the middle column, especially if they changed from a directoy to another one between creating playlist and removing the track.

clax -
Just because you drag the item out of the playlist box into the middle, does not add that item to that middle window. The drag-and-drop removes the item from the list as long as the drop is not on a deck.
Don't disagree though, that a right-click menu option would be nice.

For me just pressing the del key is the easiest way.
But why not to have the same (right click) menu as the browser.
I need functions like "analyze" or "info" sometimes.

Yes I know that a drag'n drop don't add to the middle column.
Maybe I didn't explain well (english is not my first language) ;)

we do have an option to clear out the whole playlist but no option to clear highlighted tracks I don't use the playlist much but it would be a nice option to have for dinner time :)

Pressing the "Del" key (keyboard), deletes the highlighted file(s) so simple...
I don't understand what this post is for..
But all the other right click commands (analyze etc) are not available in playlist.

We do know but the problem is that the newbies don't know that and it's more clear to have this option.
Some users could think that pressing the "del" key will delete the tracks instead of removing them from playlist.
