Topic: VDJ or RMX issue?

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

So last night at a gig, the house JBL monitor went out. I went to my truck and got another powered speaker. Since it was late, I did not bother hooking it up to the house cabling. Instead, I just hooked it to the Red RCA out (#4 on RMX) My main outs were being used on #1 & #2 (RCA) If track A was playing, and nothing was cued up, all was well. If I wanted to cue up track B, the sound volume (mainly the bass) would decrease by 1/3. Then if I wanted to cue track B, you could hear me cuing it up live. Needless to say, I spent the remainder of the night waiting until the last moment to load up the song and play it.

Any help would be great.

If you are working the basic configuration with Rmx (main output 1/2, headphone from the console) , remember that Output 3 & 4 is sending the same signal as the headphone output (the CUE mix).

Ahh, thats right.

So if im using my RCA 1&2 as my main outs, I should hook the monitor up to my 1 or 2 1/4 inch out, correct?
Or does using one type of connection cancel out the other? (I wouldnt think that it would, just being sure)

This is correct. You can have RCA and 1/4' connected at the same time without problems, but also remember that they work as stereo pairs.
