Topic: DVD Ripping Problem

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hello all. I use DVD Decrypter to rip DVD by file and for the most part have no problem. I have 2 questions.

1. On a few of the DVDs I have ripped all is well when they play in WMP. When they play in VDJ the vid is fine but the audio just hisses. I nottice in the stream processing on these DVDs it only offers LPCM for the audio and not the many options most offer. I believe this may be the problem. If it is, does anyone know how to correct this?

2. When using DVD Decrypeter, is there anyway to automatically find the file names from the net or must you manually input alll file information for hundreds of DVDs and thousands of chapters.

Thanks again to the forum for help.

Are you ripping to .VOB files?

I don't believe DVD Decryptor has cddb or freedb connectivity (which is how the titles show up). In fact, I think this is only possible with CDs, not DVDs. Not sure.

Ripping to VOB and only have the problem with this disc.

Any other advice?

I know there are other VJs out there with answers!

Gary,

I have answers to both issues, I'll send you a private e-mail. (That will save you any further bumping) :^)
