I have the VMS4 controller and I'm trying to illuminate my pause button whilst it's in action.
I've had a play around with the mapping and using the on/off command I can get the pause button to illuminate. The problem is when its lit up it doesn't pause the track ...it doesn't do anything!
Does anyone know the command to pause the track and light the button whilst paused and then unlight the button when not paused.
Hope that makes sense.

It will be something along the lines of "on & pause_stop".
Does the LED not work by default then??

The LED doesn't work by default (though I'm sure it should).
"on & pause_stop" lights up the button and pauses the track. Problem is I only want the button lit when the track is paused, not all the time as it is now. I'm sure there must be a mapping command, it's just knowing what it is!
...over to the boffins on here to sort it please.

"pause ? on & pause_stop : off & pause_stop"
You could also replace 'on' with 'blink' so the button flashes when in pause.
No need for boffins, we all have our uses here!! ;-) lol
