I have virtual dj 4.2 pc version with the dj mk2 hercules sound card. I cant go to config though because the program isn't starting. I have the mk2 console connected to the pc and when i open virtual dj program the direct x error pops up and then I click ok it just shuts the program off. I cannot go into config to change the sound setup in the program settings or config. Please help!!!! I am running on vista also.

Are you using the latest driver for the Mk2 (2010.HDJS.2) ?
VDJ 4.2 is pretty old. Wouldn't you want to update to a more recent version ?
