Hi all,
Last night I decided to record my set. The set up I used was a feed from the monitor out on the mixer into my line in on the laptop. Though the recording isn't too bad I would say it's at it's maximum level to record. It's verging on distortion. Is there any way of adjusting the record/input volume without just turning down the volume on the mixer going through the club?

If you're using VDJ why are you recording from the line input of the mixer? I record my set's live every week @ the club I work "internally" within VDJ itself.
-Go to the Record tab in VDJ and click on Config. and from there make sure it's set to record from "Master" then select either MP3 or Wav as your output format for your mix, I recommend mp3 format @ 192kbs as it's more than clean/loud enough and you should be good to go...
