You know when I 1st tried using my VMS4 the same thing happened to me but only when using the LE version, I didn't have that problem in PRO

Thanks its working...cool...now. Now..the configure screen pops up when I turn the eq knob.

well i have had my vms4 for at lease a month now and i have had a few probs but so far its workin ok just 1 thing the mike i cant get it too sound right a bit quackish still tryin too sort that oh can any one help me out with some samples i heard two for the vms4 on youtube in the mixes the guys have up

what i can tell u is too check the latency in config for the aiso driver make sure the setting is not set too the smallest setting that can cause the frezz but for the channel make sure that the sound card setting is right and also aiso setting make sure that u have the right channel select and make sure that the vdj setting for the jog sensitivity is not too its highest

can the jog wheal be adjusted on the vms4 like how the vextex do with the little screw at the side and like the Hercules cause i find it spends fairly freely some times and when i scratching it moves too far forward when i release

BaronBOOm How did you get it working because I have the same issue using pro??

i just had to go to config > sound setup > advanced > ASIO not VMS4. and it worked on ch3 and ch4 . hope that helps.

I am having the problem with sound only coming out on left side for both decks. I am using VDJPro, Windows XP 64 Bit. I like using the 64 bit because the sound is great, no latency with no tweaks. The only problem is no matter what adjustments I make I can only get sound when I use Sound Setup - Advanced Config - VMS4 - Output 1&2. If I use ASIO or any other configuration, there is no sound.

The VMS4 works fine with Windows XP 32 bit. But the sound isn't as good. Also, I don't have latency problems when I use the Numark Total control.

Any help would be appreciated. I called American Audio Technical support and they treated me like I was an idiot.

I'm also having a problem with the VMS4 playing the VDJ Pro on the same channel. Even if the assign knobs are on different channels, it still seems to play both decks on the same channel. Then my crossfader stopped working. When it's on the left, it'll play both decks, and shut the music OFF when the crossfader is on the right side. I know I probably set it up incorrectly due to my excitement when I got my new toy, but please, someone, help me fix this. My new toy is no fun if it doesn't work properly. I followed the Quick Set-up guide that came with the VMS4 but it still isn't working right. My hardware also seems to be opposite from my software. If I load a track on the right side, I would control it on my VMS4's left side. The "normal-reverse" knob only controls the crossfaders output into my headphones. How do I fix this too? I need my software to MATCH my hardware...HELP!!!

Manquin how can I tell what firmware I have or if I need to update. Cause I used the update that came with the disk when I first it....or is there a more recent one?

yes there was a little bug with the firmware included in the disk so you need to download that one from the official site

don't mean to jack the thread:
