Hi team,
now I am the proud user of the Numark Mixtrack. Great device!!
But I have one problem: The pitch fader (both) do not work correctly. i need to move them up and down (2 times or more) before the software reacts accordingly. This happens with every new track I will use.
Any hints?

Most and maybe all numark midi controllers are having this kind of feature mentioned above. Got several of those numark controllers and they responded similar when it comes to pitch slider. The feature could be annoying most of the times but it's having it's own benefits also as mentioned by JP. Without it could be a disaster when having extreme pitching gap between decks or when pith lock is activated without using the master tempo.
Personally I don't like that feature.
On DJ-Tech i-mix Reload, it's not happening that way, and I prefer for it rather than the numarks.

You can always change the mapping from pitch_slider to pitch
