I have an Acer Aspire 9410-4317 which is about 4-5yrs old. It came with XP Media Center, I set it up as a dual boot(XP & Vista Ultimate). The specs are 1.60 Core Duo, 2gb ram, 17" Monitor, 224mb shared video. this is my main VJ Laptop. It runs video with Vista flawlessly with V5.07, external 1.5tb hard drive & a behringer BCD2000 controller. I have a 4year old gateway with similar specs as my backup. The Acer has been working for me. The video freezes with all other versions :(.
I just purchased (2) Numark V7's & I'm trying to get them rocking with my Behringer BCD2000 & v6.1.2 but the video freezes periodically in or out of safe mode.

Depends what you want to do with it. Ran VDJ with a single core celeron without any problems with music only, although wouldn't recommend it lol.
