as i read in a few topics, the sound card Deejay Trim by Hercules is only compatible with MAC OS X 10.4 and MAX OS X 10.5 so which sound card should i choose to use Virtual Dj with a macbook with MAC OS X 10.6 and which works for real and which was tested by another member?...

no it is not the only soundcard that can be used.most souncards come or can download mac drivers to use.
i use my mac with numark djio soundcard as backup also used this with my windows when i started using vdj a couple years ago and still working grand

I own, have used and recommended to others, the excellent Edirol FA-66. It's a perfect companion for Mac and Virtual DJ.
