hi all,
I’ve spent a hour now playing with virtual DJ but cant get what i want it to do..
Basically what i want is on karaoke night is to be able to be playing my playlist on the one deck, then when karaoke is requested, i just want to drag it to my other deck and when ready it just fades all the way over automatically, then when the karaoke track finishes it fades back to the same part of the song and carry on as normal.
I’m using virtual DJ 6.1.2 pro.
Normally I fade it myself and pause the current song playing, but it’s a bit crap and I’d like everything to run in sync making us look better and more professional
any help will be greatly appreciated!

To be more professional you are going to have to put some effort in yourself into your shows.
Use the left deck for your karaoke and the right deck for an automix between singers, anything less than that and you don't need to be at the gig.

Need to find out how can I get the words to come out in the video screen.
I'm using a Karaoke (MP3+CDG) file. I have ver 7.0
the skin im using is Virtuadj 7 (2decks) 1024x768
First I used the internal video box using video out put as follows.
(tv output) windows.
activate (checked) then (unchecked)
Vedio card im using is a MATRIX dual head G450
I play the file I click on the center of screen of Virtualldj
the second monitor goes black, the songs plays but no CDG (words).
Using Windows Xp.
I also need to know what other file Virtualdj will play for Karaoke.

Matrix videon card.
