Topic: Stanton SC System 3

My friend's roommate won a Stanton SC System 3 in some competition. It's been sitting in her garage untouched for months. She offered to sell it to me for cheap... honestly I don't even think she knows what its worth, but I'm not going to rip her off. Has anyone used one of these? It looks super slick, I'm really wanting to try it out. Thinking about buying it if the price is right. Thanks for the input!

P.S. Downloaded VDJ 7 last night, got to play around with if for about an hour before I was off to a gig. Here is little video I made in my excitement using 3 decks, a mouse, and a keyboard =)

i use 2 dascratches with a numark total control, i like the scratching possiblities the only thing im not sure about since i never used the 3m(but sliders are the same on the dascratch),the sliders are touchy so if u have somethign sensitve like the pitch set at a certain spot when you go back to move it it could end up moving it drastically as the sliders are touch sensitive but id like to see what anyone else says about the contol of the 3m, for a decent price i can tell u the dascratches are fun stuff

quick edit,if u arent using any timecodes the 3ds are pretty nice for extra control over jog wheels

I was thinking about using them with my timecodes and rmx to take advantage of 4 decks.
 
yea sorry just saw ur last post, if u r using timecodes,they are still fun but the only thing that kinda detracts from them is that the jog surface is kinda small but for scratching the center slider gives decent control
