Hi all,
just a little anoyed atm... I just found out that the house version of VDJ is now free.
Is this the whole app for free or like a trial?? Cuss I'd be quite anoyed if it was free, considering I bought it not long ago.
On the brighter side, REALLY excited for the new vdj 7 - will be buying that shortly :)

Home Edition 5 is based on the version 5 engine and the only 'upgrade' path to get the new versions was to purchase the PRO version.
With Home (FREE) version 7 - everyone that purchased Home Edition 5 is getting a FREE upgrade to the latest HOME version. The feature set of Home (FREE) is same of Home Edition 5 - but now you can take advantage of all the improvements and additional capabilities like multi-deck.
If you need the PRO features, don't forget to use the 'UPGRADE' option on the BUY page and get a discount off the purchase of PRO.

I downloaded the new home version but I was informed the my RMX console would time out after 10 mins and sure enough it did. How do I get the new home version to work with the console?

You must use the LE version that came with your controller or purchase Pro Full.

So the new version of home is just a waste of HD space? I can't afford the full version I have been unemployed since Feb no UI either.

It's not a waste of space, it's a basic home version for people to learn how to use the software with simple configurations. To be able to use external controllers you need to use the LE version you got with the controller or pay to upgrade to VDJ Pro 7

Don't matter for me any more cuss I will be buying pro maybe today, will take a whack outa my savings (unemployed) but I can see it's worth it.

As said above; they have several options:
* Stay on v5 home
* Use v7 free home
* Upgrade to v7 pro
