i tried running it for the first time last night at the club with TC. i tried setting it up a few dif ways via sound setup but i couldn't get it to the way i would like. i am hoping someone can help. on 6 or lower i would run it in 3 channel mixer mode with 3 being the sampler output. when i tried to set it that way in 7 it assigned the 3rd channel to the 3rd channel in vdj. if i set it up under advanced it would assign the sampler to all 4 outputs on the zero 4 mixer so if i had one down or lower the samples wouldn't play at the same volumes due to added dbl from each channel "on". it wouldn't allow me to set the master out on the zero 4 for sampler. it didn't even give that option. i would love to run it the same way i had done in VDJ 6 with 3 channel mode 1, 2 being decks and 3 being sampler. or if i can run it in 4 channel mode but have the sample going to master instead of a channel.

You should be able to assign it no different than before if you are staying with a 2 deck skin.
Outputs - 3ch External - Chan 1&2 Deck 1 / Chan 3&4 Deck 2 / Chan 5&6 : Sampler/Preview
If you are trying to use a Multi-deck skin like the 4 deck skin - then use the Advance Config and choose the same as what would have been assigned for the 2-deck skin
Deck 1 - Output 1&2
Deck 2 - Output 3&4
Deck 3 - Output 1&2
Deck 4 - Output 3&4
Sampler - Output 5&6
In all cases you would select your Zero4 as the sound card from the respective drop-downs.

are you able to use a 2 deck skin with 4 decks? also what are the proper settings for the line in for TC for a one deck just choose deck 1 as your input?
