Topic: VCI-300 Compatibility with VDJ7

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hey,

I'm trying out the Virtual DJ Home 7 in order to see how it goes with the vci-300,
Is it supposed to be compatible out the box? Because based on just 3 minutes of playing, no cues work except for the big cue button next to play/pause, no LEDs work, autoloop doesn't work, I can't prelisten with headphones and the play pause button only starts a song, and when pressed again to pause, it stops the deck completely.
Is this a problem with me? Because it looks like all the maps are accurate.
Assuming I can get it working perfectly I definately plan on buying Pro, I just want make sure there are no problems and that it runs sweet.

Thanks :)

The VCI-300 (MK1) is fully natively supported in the latest VirtualDJ v7, including Home FREE (MIDI controllers can only be used for first 10 minutes.)

If you have used an earlier version of VirtualDJ before, then the mapping may not be correct. Go to CONFIG -> Mappers, choose the VCI-300 in the drop-down list and then click the revert to factory settings button at the bottom-left of the dialogue box.

The CUE1/CUE2/CUE3 buttons are hotcues 1/2/3 respectively. The OUT1/OUT2/OUT3 buttons are loop in, loop out and reloop respectively.

If you have the newer VCI-300 MK2, then this may not work correctly depending on what changes the manufacturer has made. There is a custom user-made mapping and definition for the MK2, but this only available to registered licensed users of VirtualDJ Professional: http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/12082/Vestax_VCI-300_MKII_Def___Mapper.html

To be able to use the sound card of the VCI-300, you will need to use ASIO4ALL - Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/homepage/cioce/blogs/3832/_ENG__Vestax_VCI-300_Typhoon_Spin_audio_setup_on_Virtual_DJ_6.html for details.
