Hey everyone..again!
So my current setup is:
Hercules RMX Dj Console
Two Numark TT200's
Two Shure SC35C Cartridges and Needles
2 Scratch live timecodes
The issue that I am having is when I connect my turntables up to the rmx and select timecodes on virtual dj, before I even turn on the turntables the virtual Decks on virtual dj begin spinning RAPIDLY FAST! If i have a song loaded, then it goes through the song in about 10 seconds and just outputs a loud noise. When I turn the turntables on however, the song starts to play at it's proper speed but the sound is horrible even after I adjust some settings such as auto config on the timecode settings tab. Anyone please help me at all. I have a pretty big show coming up this weekend and it would be awesome to get these guys working.
Note : I didn't ground my turntables because the guy at the store said it wasn't that important but that seems very VERY VERY odd considering I could potentially ruin the mixer and turntables...Idk if I am correct but could this be a possible solution to fixing the timecodes and possibly making the sound better?
Thank you so much to everyone in advance and I look forward to hearing back from everyone!

I use timecodes too...not vinyl but CD. First thing to check are the RCA cables, if left (white) was plugged to right (red) input or the other way around, this could possibly happen. Next thing to check is the Vinyl type on timecode settings...then the RPM 33 or 45.
Goodluck!

Hey thanks for the quick response and I have checked all of that stuff out and it seems to be one of my needles because one needle sounds very good and the other like absolute crap. I guess my question is...are there any settings on VDJ that will recognize my use of timecodes and play the song when it gets a signal from the vinyl but not adjust to the pitch change and "crappy" sounds coming from my needles. I apologize if this is confusing but it's the only way I know how to describe it. haha. thanks again guys!

Sound more like a gound problem. Have you connected the turntables to the ground connection properly? (This tends to be tricky)

Thank you everyone again and It very well could be a ground issue SEEING HOW THERES NO GROUND CABLE..haha the guy that I bought them said they were not necessary which as I said before sounded very wrong. Does that make a huge difference with the sound or is it just safer? Thanks again guys

I had the same problem once...
What position is your "gain" in the TC settings?
Mine was on the very first position, 7 o'clock, I raised it up to ca. 8 o'clock and the problem was gone.

TT 200's have the ground cable, the shop guy maybe confused them with TTX's

Oh yeah and give us a screenshot of your timecode "signal" :)

Thanks everyone again...yes the tt200's do have a place for a ground cable but I do not have one. Should I go buy one and where? I will give you a shot of my screen tomorrow when I have my turntables cause there at home now and I'm at college but I can tell you that I'm using noisemap and it will occasionally say 100% quality but they are more like ovals and they never turn green? Always red. Anyways, whats the deal with gain? How exactly do I go about changing that? Thanks again everyone sooo much.
