Topic: Numark DJ|IO Soundcard

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

I have Virtual DJ Pro and I'm thinking about trying the Numark DJ|IO Soundcard. I'll be using external control (Pioneer CDJ's or another controller). But I want to try the CDJs first. Any recommendations?

I presently am using M-Audio Torq with the Conectiv soundcard. I have tried DJ'ing with the Conectiv card using VDJ, but playing music videos has been horrible. It's fine with audio, but mp4 files are garbage with the Conectiv. I'm not sure the Conectiv card is the problem. But it's the next thing to check in my debugging process. I've already ruled out the time code CDs and the external hard drive.

So I am hoping the affordable Numark DJ|IO will be better. Anyone using it with videos?
Thanks!

For a start im not sure dj you'd want a DJ IO for timecoded mixing
read here http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/100758/General_Discussion/The_Numark_Dj_IO.html

plus sound quality for the price aint too hot so i've heard.

Id recommend the NI Audio 2 Dj for better sound quality at the same price. http://www.native-instruments.com/#/en/products/dj/audio-2-dj/

But again not ideal for timecoding.

I have to say i've got the conectiv and im not sure i've noticed poor quality from videos although with mp4 but ill have to check although i do use my novation nio for normal mixing.

Can i also ask do you get you mp4s from the same source??
