Topic: HERCULES RMX SOUND CARD WONT READ ON VDJ

I have had my Hercules RMX for a year now and not had a single problem with it. I downloaded VDJ7 and noticed freezing and glitches so I went back to VDJ6...now when I try to set my sound card to the RMX it wont come up...I am able to select 'mono separated' '2 cards' '4-out'. I've never had this problem and I hope there isn't something wrong with the RMX internally...I have a mac by the way....if anyone could help that'd be great!

My guess is that by installing V7, you probably overwrote the preferences file, so v6 is not able to read it properly, so not all options are available anymore.

I would delete the Virtual DJ folder (In Documents) as well as the preference file (Library > Preferences > com.Atomixproducts.Virtualdj.plist ) , then reinstall the versions you want to use.
 
I uninstalled as well as doing what you instructed....still nothing. I'm really at a loss here. Has anyone else experienced this?? In the sound card option on the right side I am able to choose Hercules RMX console but on the left it does not sow up.....someone please help....
 
Are you using the latest drivers from ts.hercules.com? I have not had a problem since updating, but i stay as up to date as possible with hercules.
 
Where do I find the latest driver...
