Hello!
I've been having an issue with the VMS4 and VDJ7Pro. Someone has advised me that it's an issue to do with software updates. Please could somone verify this and point me in the right direction?
Since I had the unit I get intermitent crackling in the headphones that lasts a few minutes. It also makes its way out through broadcast (either by internet or on house speakers) but it's most prominent in the headphones.
I mentioned it at my local DJ store today and they said there was a known issue with upgrading from VDJ5 or 6 to 7, and the installation of the LE drivers that com on the disc with the VMS4. Some sort of conflict occurs? The issue can apparently be resolved by deleting a line out of something somewhere. I've searched forums but to no avail, and I've had no response fro American Audio on the matter.
Anybody heard this? The crackle is really getting on my nerves and is not good in the middle of performances.
Cheers

I used to have that problem. I started tinkering with things to see if I could get it fixed.
I did notice a difference in the sampling rates (on my soundcards) for Ch1 and Ch2.
I changed them both to match (44100), and I haven't had the problem come back.
I don't know if that is a 'documentable' solution, or if I just got lucky. Please let me know if you try it...
