I am the Corporate Sales Director for an international procurement agency, I've built my own business from humble beginnings in Ireland as a DJ. i have the hottest product in the world at the minute, with EDA in whatever countries i break the market, this is not a joke
10" tablet pc Windows 7 or Android(Virtualdj states software works better on 7)
1.6ghz intel atom processor
1-2g ddr2 ram
160g hd(320g option)
HD screen and output
3g and wifi

What i'd like to ask is would Virtual Dj be interested in developing a pinoeer cdj type emulator to run as individual decks with beatmatching functions etc linked over wfi to sell on my product yourselves and for us, Croilar Ltd to also sell your product in place as a Dj solution worldwide(under the banner of DB Entertainment and Media)
I'd also implore you to allow this post as some valuable market research could evolve in this forum
Many thanks

why would they want to? processor speed is too slow, no video card other than on-board processor. 10inch screen? too small. hard drive would have to be at least 500gig to be even halfway interesting.
for me to even think about a tablet it would have to be -
12-15 inch screen
2.6g- 3g dual core processor
2 - 4g RAM
500gig hd
wireless speed would at least have to be in the N range and secure.
sorry but the specs you quoted just wouldnt suit for most of us, and making one like that beastie i just listed up there would drive production and overhead up a little much. not to mention the overall price to consumer.
Minimum system requirements:
Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD Athlon™ XP
1024x768 resolution
DirectX compatible soundcard
512MB RAM
50MB free on the hard drive
RECOMENDED system requirements:
Intel® Core™ 2 or AMD Athlon™ X2
1280x1024 resolution
Multi-channel DirectX compatible soundcard
1024MB RAM
200MB free on the hard drive
Additional requirements for Video mixing:
2048MB (2GB) RAM
ATI™ or NVIDIA® video card w/256MB of Dedicated DDR3 RAM
Video card must support dual-screen output

no, what i needed to hear was that the management was quitting and/or being arrested, that i was getting a raise to make up for the last 3 years of not getting one, and that the dude posting for that tablet wasnt just trying to dump cheap crap on the gullible. if he really wanted market research feedback then i done gave it.

Interesting responses...
I've been using an Advent 4211b Netbook for my sets for over a year now (Atom 1.6, 2GB Ram, 80GB HD, custom XP shell and VDJ skin) linked to a DJIO with NDX800's and a DDM 4000 mixer and I've never had one hic up with the Netbook.
I'd be interested in running one on test to build up a custom skin and do some soak testing on it. I'd also be interested in seeing how Win7 runs on that spec.
I'm currently soak testing my new i5 Dell Studio 15 Black Chain Link, so the Advent is still the mainstay laptop.
