Hello,
Will this work with the free version of VDJ or will i need to upgrade to the PRO? Basically I want to run VDJ so each deck goes through a seperate channel on my external mixer. So I can mix.
Thamks!

It'll work for like 10 minutes. Then you'll have to restart everything. The free version is there so you can test things out.

Hi I had a look at that
It says you can - "Use External Audio Mixer (no midi)" So I understand I can use an external mixer (non Midi). However is the J|iO USB DJ Audio Interface counted as a midi device? As it splits the channels before it hits the mixer. I don't find this very clear on the comparison sheet.
Sorry i'm prob being thick but I don't want to over purchase if I dont need to. I'm only mixing tunes, not videos etc

No its not considered midi. Its just an audio interface. Midi is like a controller, or something external that controls what the software will do. Hope that makes sense?
