Topic: Adding songs to database on the fly

I use two macbooks when I perform at weddings - one primary and one backup. The backup one is always connected to the internet (if there is WiFi available). We had a couple of requests for songs I did not have, so I jumped on Amazon and purchased the .mp3 files. Once the downloads were complete, the new songs did not show up in my VDJ library. What must I do to update this? I believe I tried the "check" and "clean" functions (out of desperation).
