Hi, I received 2x DN-SC2000 which when working properly are amazing. I was running 2 of them tonight and 3 times when using them it locked the software up, I noticed that I could'nt access my main 2tb music sata hard drive
once this error happened. I had to disconect the two midi controllers on reboot to get my hard drive to work properly. Is this a power issue or just a software qlitch, should I be using only 1 of these instead of 2??. Please can someone help me.
My spec of my pc is pretty high here are the details
450W Corsair CMPSU-450HXUK, Modular
4GB (2x2GB) Corsair XMS3 DDR3 PC3-1
Intel Core i5 750
Asus P7P55-M, Intel P55 Express
Window 7 home
Many thanks
Keith

keithykoo,
It might be a power issue. Try connecting the controllers to a powered USB hub. See if that helps. As far as I know, (not 100% sure) you can use 2 of these with VDJ. Not sure, though.
As of today, there are no firmware upgrades to the DN-SC2000.
If I was you, I would also do a complete uninstall and reinstall of your hardware drivers. Also, as a matter of habit, always connect everything the same way (same hardware to the same USB ports, etc) everytime you boot up. This way your PC and VDJ always see the same configuration. Once you have a stable setup, it's best not to experiment or move stuff around. Leave well enough alone, LOL...
Hope this helps.

Keithykoo,
I just received my pair pf DN-SC2000s. I tried all the suggestions I gave you. It's a firmware issue, brother. We just have to wait.
Apparently, the DN-MC6000 was first in line for firmware update. The new firmware update for the DN-SC2000 is imminent. At least that is the vibe I get over at the Denon DN-SC2000 forums...
