Hi, I've heard it mentioned a few times on here that peeps are running vdj as administrator on their pc/mac
are there any risks involved in me doing this..? Other than to surf cyber I only use this pc for vdj anyway so wondered what the heck !
Also if I do this will I benefit from having vdj run even better than it does at present (not that I'm experiencing much drama with it anyway) but just curious ;)
thanks in advance ¬;)

Don't know what the risk could be. I run as administrator because it allows me to make changes to my machine.

there's no risk
run as admin when installing new items such as drivers/ controllers or sometimes plugins
it's not a tweak or an optimization that makes the computer run better

On my Dell (Win7 64), I run as admin...on my Netbook I have changed XP to shell to VDJ rather than Explorer (with all the usual DJ tweaks on XP) - which helps as it's only an Atom 1.6 with 2Gb RAM.
