Would be nice to see a for sale topic added to the forums for us to sell are trade gear with other full members.
What do you guys think?
Just an open topic nothing to do with VDJ, but just a place for us to post stuff for sale. I've used this function on other forums and it works pretty well, because really the odds of getting (screwed) by another full member are not really likely. We all buy and sell gear, as we try and see if it works for are specs and conditions...

Sales are not permitted in VirtualDJ web page. You can still use other trusted sites to sell or buy gear (Ebay etc)

He asked for your thoughts not just instantly come in and slam the door on him............... Ok if we can't sell directly from the site how about atleast letting us post links to our stuff on Ebay, etc. in say the experienced forum??? Then no NLU's couldnt see or post plus VDJ would not be held accountable in the case someone did get screwed (which is probably why its not allowed in the first place)............feedback.......

Yeah, as much as I would love to have a for sale section on the forum I don't direct sales transactions would be a good idea from Atomix point of view. How would you track the integrity of a seller? Buyer seller disputes can get pretty nasty and I don't think a company like Atomix who is not getting anything out of the deal want's to get dragged into disputes.
But being able to link our sales on other 3rd party sites would be cool, all the liability would be on ebay or whatever. Sites like ebay have tools already in place to handle these types of things.
Also another thing to consider, if sales are allowed professional sellers might take advantage and start spamming the forum.

How is this for a SLAM Huey??
It has been and will continue to be our policy that we WILL NOT permit the selling of products on our site OR links to such. There are thousands of places that already do this. The VirtualDJ forums are for collaborating about the VirtualDJ products and services - not selling.
