There is a major difference between Traktor hotcues and VDJ hotcues, specifically when the deck is not playing. When the deck is paused, traktor hotcues will only play while pressed (VDJ hotcues start playing the track). If you would like to make your VDJ hotcues act like Traktor hotcues, use this script:
wherever you see "hot_cue 1", replace it with "goto_cue 1 & set_cue 1 & cue 1"
