There should be a LE disc and serial supplied with the console from the manufacturer. You have registered software here, is there anything showing in your download center on this site?

if you already have LE installed then just use that. but why would you want limited edition when you can have full version 5??
limited edition isnt an edition thats limited because theres only so many and its a good thing. its a limited edition because it has limited features. its the most basic form of vdj.
you are really much better off using version 5 if its the full edition. especially if you plan to add timecodes later on.

If you would like more than what the free limited DJ Console Edition offers, then you can upgrade at a considerable discount to the latest VirtualDJ v7.0.2 Pro: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
There have been many changes and improvements to the software since v5, including support for 4 or more decks: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ_History.html
Otherwise if you are happy with the LE that comes with your console, you can continue to use this. You can download it again at any time from the Download Center: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html
Please ensure that you have the latest DJ Console drivers and firmware installed. A link to download this can be found on the following page:

Yes, the free DJ Console Edition that comes with the Hercules DJ Console will only work with the DJ Console connected and supports use of the console.
It does not support any other hardware or use of the software stand-alone without the console connected.
The Pro trial will expire after 20 days.
We would also recommend trying Home FREE v7 so you can try the latest features of the software. Home FREE allows the DJ Console to be tried for 10 minutes at a time: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html
