OK i not sure if this has been discussed before but i realized that with the new version of VDJ i cant do what i used to do in version 5.4 an that is that i can use the temporary play button on a deck and and then select the other deck with the current deck remaining playing.i know some of u would recommend the cue play button but that changes my cue points. this is what i have been stuck at "hot_cue 1 play while_pressed" i can add "100ms" to keep it playing it gives me an error. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as i am totally frustrated trying to get this to work.

I'm not sure what you need to do, but try this,..
assign your cue button as
cue_button
and your play button as ..
play_button
Select the Pioneer mode play using play mode. You can assign a button to toggle between pioneer mode and numark mode as..
play_mode
Now while holding down the cue button the song is playing from the last cue. If you need the song to continue polaying without holding the cue button, simply press the play button and release the cue.

Sounds to me like you need play_stutter . But I am assuming as I do not really follow what you are trying to do.
